Guidelines and Information for 2013 Vendor Registration
Artists and Crafters
Any person, or group of people, who make their items or service for sale by hand or personally crafts items. (Food items excluded) Examples: Someone who makes candles, someone who paints portraits, someone who sews doll clothes etc. Fill out Artist Registration Form. Booth Fee: $30.00 before May 1, $45.00 after May 1. (Additional $10.00 booth space for any booth under the Munsie Street Tent)
Arts Related Businesses
Any Business (for-profit) that promotes or sells or promotes a visual or performance based art or art product. Examples: A dance studio, an art supply store, a theatre. Direct sales demonstrators that deal with hand made products, or products to make things by hand are included in this category. (Stampin’ Up, Close to My Heart, etc.) Only one demonstrator per business- first come, first served. Fill out Artist Registration Form. Booth Fee: $30.00 before May 1, $45.00 after May 1. (Additional $10.00 booth space for any booth under the Munsie Street Tent)
Non-Profit Arts Organization
Any non-profit arts organization that wishes to promote their organization. Examples: choirs, bands, theatre troupes etc. School performance and visual arts groups are included in this category. Fill out Artist Registration Form. Booth Fee: $30.00 before May 1, $45.00 after May 1. (Additional $10.00 booth space for any booth under the Munsie Street Tent)
Other Non-Profit Organizations
Any non-arts-related not-for-profit organizations serving the Indianapolis community (such as churches or philanthropic organizations) may rent a booth space and display at the festival to promote their organization. We encourage Non-profit organizations that are not arts related to offer a festival friendly activity. There is a limit of 10 openings available on a first-come, first-served basis. Fill out a Non-Profit Registration Form. Booth Fee: $30.00 before May 1, $45.00 after May 1. (Additional $10.00 booth space for any booth under the Munsie Street Tent)
Non-Arts Related Businesses
There is a limit of 15 non-arts related businesses on a first-come-first-served basis. We encourage businesses to sponsor an arts related activity in addition to general promotion of their business. Examples of appropriate activities are: Coloring contests for children, give-away promotions to local arts events, taking pictures in costumes or settings etc. Please contact Danielle Hartman to discuss proposed activity. Fill Out Business Participation Form. Booth Fee: $30.00 before May 1, $45.00 after May 1. (Additional $10.00 booth space for any booth under the Munsie Street Tent)
Civic Service Organizations
There is a limit of 5 civic service organizations serving the east side of Indianapolis, Cumberland or Western Hancock County. These organizations may have a free booth in order to promote their service activities, if they are promoting only, not selling items. If a civic service organization would like to sell items, then the booth fee will apply. First-come-first-served. Fill out Civic Service Organization Form.
Event Sponsors
Any Business or organization that sponsors the festival over $300 can receive a free booth to promote their business as desired. Fill out Business Participation Form in addition to forms related to sponsorship.
Entertainment
Entertainers engaged to perform are entitled to a booth for the day. Fill out Artist Registration Form. Entertainment coordinator is Wyatt Watkins.
Food Vendors
Please contact us at 894-2645 or cumberlandarts@comcast.net for more information about food vending. Food Coordinators are Jackie Stevens and Elisa Hamilton.
Electricity and Munsie Street Tent
Electricity is available on a limited, first come, first served basis to all vendors at an additional fee of $20. There is an additional fee of $10.00 for any vendor that would like to be in the Munsie Street Tent, located just off of US 40 and close to the entrance.
